A large number of cattle deaths have been reported from Ganewelpola and Horapola areas in the Kikirawa District due to the bad weather condition said the Kekirawa Provincial Secretary.
More than four hundred cattle had died due to the cold weather in the flood hit Kekirawa area and since all such deaths have not been reported to the authorities concerned, he added that the actual number of deaths cannot be revealed, it could be even higher.
